La Manzanilla Vacation Rentals

Crocodile Bar and Cabañas - New Downstairs

Welcome! New downstairs is a simple room and bathroom on the beach with a spectacular view for $275 per week or $1,000 usd per month. Not only can you almost reach out and touch Tenacatita Bay, but you only need to walk only 10 meters to cross the little bridge to reach La Manzanilla’s charming plaza. We accept one-night reservations for low season. For high season, please reserve your room for at least one week to receive a discount.

The space - More photos

The beachfront units are next to the former Bambu Sunset Bar, which will reopen soon as the Crocodile Bar. We are also proud to announce Cafe Du Calcetin relocated to our location, so you only need to go a few steps to the best coffee in town. Crocodile Bar will also offer breakfast, lunch and dinner on a daily basis. For those of you familiar with La Manzanilla, you will know it is not Bourbon Street, so please don’t fret about sleeping next door to a bar. The big crowd comes for the sunset and most nights we will shut down by 10 p.m.

Guest access

Anyone renting a cabaña is guaranteed a table for two day and night at the Crocodile Bar, even if you simply want to read a book or watch the bay. Enjoy the view from your room or take advantage of the charming palapa a few steps away. Of course WiFi and hot water are included. All units have screens on the windows.

Interaction with guests

Your bilingual Gringo host has been visiting the Mexican Pacific since 1992 and has lived in Jalisco for more than three years. Mateo will provide all guests with excellent on-site service, whether they wish to stay for a night, a week, a month, or more. If you already know your way around and wish to do your own thing, that's fine as well.

Other things to note

The artistic seaside community of La Manzanilla continues to charm tourists from Canada, Mexico and the United States. We're big enough to have three doctors, schools, small stores and plenty of wonderful restaurants, but quaint enough that we still don't have an Oxxo. And of course you must visit the crocodile sanctuary!
